Amazing Author(s)

When I started using Barnes & Noble’s Nook app, I came to realize how many amazing authors and books there are out there that were not only amazing to read, but many of them were FREE or so close to free you wouldn’t mind missing a dollar or two.. I don’t just mean a handful, I mean thousands. When I discovered this I felt like I had just discovered a very well kept secret, or maybe I was just behind with the times…HA HA. Ever since I discovered this, I am constantly searching for a new and upcoming author to read or just a onetime amazing story and I am here to say I have found not just a few but too many to count! I have been more than amazed and I have become an addict for my Nook app.

With saying that I would like to share with you one of the authors I have recently discovered this year that I am so excited I was lucky enough to find.

Chanda Hahn – Author – Young Adult, but enjoyable by all!

“An Unfortunate Fairy Tale”

#1 UnEnchanted (published 2011) – (Nook) Barnes & Noble $ 0.00

#2 Fairest (published 2012) – (Nook)Barnes & Noble $ 3.99

#3 Fable (coming soon, Summer 2013)

I have personally read both UnEnchanted and Fairest and cannot wait until Fable is release (VERY EXCITED)!

Chanda also has other works that I have not had the pleasure of reading quite yet (but they are on my TO-DO list), however the reviews are excellent.

“The Iron Butterfly Series”

#1 – The Iron Butterfly (published 2012) – (Nook) Barnes & Noble $ 0.00

#2 – The Steele Wolf (published 2012) – (Nook) Barnes & Noble $ 2.99

#3 – The Silver Siren (coming soon, Fall/Winter 2013)

My Review for “An Unfortunate Fairy Tale” series…

Mina Grime is constantly having accidents that are caused by her and has weird things just keep happening, talk about unlucky. Her mother always seems on edge and over protective with Mia and if she was to tell her about what has been going on, her mother will pack them up and move. When Mia finds out the truth about not being a Grime and actually being a Grimm (related to the fairy tale Grimm Brothers), she is hesitant to understand the severity of the situation and what her near future holds. Throughout the book Mia will endure heartbreak, growing friendships and worst of all very near death situations. With being a descended of the Grimm Brothers comes a curse and the curse is hot on Mia’s tale. For every story “curse” the Grimm Brothers did not complete, Mia is forced to face unforgettable Fairy Tales, and these are not ones you will remember from when you were a child. To survive Mia will have to complete many fairy tales…is she strong enough?

I think that anyone that reads this book will enjoy this story as much as I have. And just when you think that the story is over, there is #2 Fairest and coming soon #3 Fable.

If you have read this book, comment and let me know what you think.

Happy Reading!
